About Seabattle

The first version of this Seabattle was created in 1987, in DOS (Turbo Pascal 3)

In 1993, it was rewritten for Windows 3.1 (using Borland Pascal for Windows). It can be downloaded (Dutch only), but doesn't work anymore on XP.

Again rewritten in 1996, but now as a Java Applet. It was a bit simplified, one-player only, and published on the internet. It is still there, and it is still used.

The traditional program is called battleship, in English. But Hasbro claimed to have the exclusive rights for that name. So it was renamed to seabattle.
